GPS/GNSS 1x8 Integrated Rack Mount Splitter (IRMS18), Galileo, GLONASS Amplifier is an in-line one input one output RF device. The most
common use being the amplification of the GPS signal before 15dB of cable or other RF device loss.
The A11 is available with more options than any competitive product on the market.
The A11 features 30dB of Gain, and a noise figure of less than 1.8dB. It can be powered externally
with an AC input voltage option, a DC input option, or, since the product consumes less than 16mA,
it may be powered by the GPS receiver’s antenna voltage output. Regardless of the input power
configuration, the A11 can provide a DC voltage output to power an active GPS antenna.

Rack mounts are commonly used by cellular, timing, and test labs utilizing GPS. The IRMS18 is
available with more options than other competitive products.
A GNSS receiver within the IRMS18 monitors the antenna signal strength. There is also internal
monitoring of the antenna current draw.
The dual power supply option allows two internal power supply units to share the load. If one unit
is not available, the other will seamlessly take over without any loss of power. The power supply
LED fault indicator is clearly visible on the front panel, and can also transmit using the contacts
made available on the back panel.
For diagnostic purposes, the IRMS18 also features a DB9 female connector interface on the back
panel.
